Introduction:
Why this journal title is named SASI: SASI is a term in the Customary Law in Maluku province, which is a general guide to the prohibition or limitation of community rights, women's rights, preventing crime, protecting natural resources.
Journal History:
SASI was established on 1994, published by the Faculty of Law Pattimura University, the first Editor in Chief is George Leasa, S.H.. At that time SASI did not have an ISSN. SASI was published four issues per year.
In January 14, 2003 SASI (Volume 9) has received a print ISSN 1693-0061.
Since 2015 SASI (Volume 21) is published two issues per year, in June and December.
In 2017 (Volume 23 No. 2), SASI has received Online ISSN 2614-2961, and uploaded it to the Operating Journal System (OJS). In this volume, Editor in Chief replaced by Sarah Selfina Kuahaty, S.H., M.H., the Editorial Team was changed, the Peer-Reviewer added, using a new cover design, and using a new template.
In 2017, SASI is now an open-access journal.
In 2019, SASI is indexed by DOAJ.
In September 2019 SASI obtained the first National Accreditation by the Director General of Strengthening Research And Development, Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education Republic of Indonesia. Decree No. 28/E/KPT/2019. This accreditation is valid from Volume 24 No. 1 Januari - Juni 2018 until Volume 28 No. 1 Januari - Juni 2022.
in 2019, SASI using new templates starting form Volume 25 No 2, Juli - Desember 2019.
in 2020, SASI increased the number of publications to four issues per year, in March, June, September, December. One issue increased to eleven articles.
in August 2020 SASI subscribed to a DOI at Crossref

In September 10, 2020 SASI applied for journal re-accreditation
In December 9, 2021 SASI Receives Sinta 2 Accreditation by the Ministry of Research and Technology/National Research and Innovation Agency. Valid from the issue of Volume 23 Number 3, 2020 to Volume 31 Number 2, 2025
