Announcement of Open Journal Systems (OJS) Upgrade to Version 3.5.0.4
The Publisher is pleased to announce that, in June 2026, the journal management platform was successfully upgraded from Open Journal Systems (OJS) version 2.4.8.0 to Open Journal Systems (OJS) version 3.5.0.4.
This upgrade was carried out to strengthen system security, improve performance and stability, provide a more modern and user-friendly interface, and support current standards in scholarly publishing and journal management.
The upgraded platform offers several important improvements, including:
- Enhanced system security and stability.
- Improved editorial management and peer-review workflows.
- A more intuitive and responsive user interface.
- Better support for metadata management and scholarly publishing standards.
- Improved support for integrations with scholarly services, including DOI registration, ORCID, and indexing platforms.
Following the migration, all Editors, Reviewers, and Authors are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the updated interface and workflow procedures. Although existing user accounts and journal records remain available, some menus, features, and operational procedures may differ from those in the previous version.
Notice Regarding Article Activity Logs
As a result of the migration, some historical article activity logs were found to be incomplete, damaged, or unavailable in the new system. Consequently, the activity history displayed for certain articles may be limited primarily to records of email correspondence and notifications involving Authors, Editors, and Reviewers. Other historical editorial activities and workflow records may no longer be accessible through the platform.
This issue relates to the availability of historical activity logs and does not necessarily indicate that the corresponding articles, submissions, or publication records have been lost. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience and regret that some historical activity information could not be fully preserved during the migration.
We appreciate the understanding and cooperation of all journal users during this transition. If you encounter difficulties using the platform or require assistance, please contact the journal management team.
Thank you for your continued support and valuable contributions to the journal.
