Open Access Statement

SASI is committed to advancing the principles of open access by providing immediate, permanent, and unrestricted online access to the full text of all published scholarly articles. The full text of every article is freely and permanently available immediately upon publication without subscription fees, registration requirements, or embargo periods.

By removing barriers to knowledge, the journal enhances the visibility, accessibility, and discoverability of published research. Open access enables the broad dissemination of legal scholarship, fosters scholarly communication and collaboration, supports evidence-informed legal research and policymaking, advances legal education and professional practice, and contributes to the public good through the free exchange of knowledge.

Use of Published Content

Users are free to access, read, download, print, copy, distribute, cite, and share published articles for non-commercial purposes in accordance with the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) License. Any reuse of published material must provide appropriate credit to the original author(s), the journal, and the original source of publication.

All articles published in SASI are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) License. This license permits non-commercial use, sharing, adaptation, distribution, and reproduction in any medium or format, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s), a link to the license is included, and any changes made are clearly indicated.

Authors retain copyright of their work and may share or archive the published version in accordance with the journal's Copyright Notice and Author Self-Archiving Policy.

Article Processing Charges (APCs)

To support high-quality editorial management, rigorous peer review, professional production, online publication, and the long-term preservation of scholarly content, SASI applies an Article Processing Charge (APC). Information regarding the applicable publication fee is clearly provided on the journal's Author Fees page before manuscript submission.

Editorial decisions are based solely on academic quality, originality, and scholarly merit through an independent and rigorous peer-review process. An author's ability or inability to pay publication fees has no influence on the editorial evaluation, peer-review process, acceptance decision, or publication outcome.

Digital Preservation

To ensure the long-term preservation, integrity, and continued accessibility of its scholarly record, SASI participates in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN). Through this preservation service, published articles are securely archived to help ensure their continued availability to researchers, institutions, and future generations of scholars.
