Archiving Policy
SASI is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and availability of all published scholarly content.
To support digital preservation and safeguard the journal's scholarly record, SASI utilizes multiple archiving and preservation mechanisms, including:
PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)
SASI participates in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), a preservation service developed by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP). PKP PN provides free long-term preservation for journals using Open Journal Systems (OJS), ensuring continued access to published content in the event of system failure or journal discontinuation.
LOCKSS
SASI supports the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system for distributed digital preservation. The journal permits LOCKSS-based preservation services to collect, preserve, and restore its content through geographically distributed archival nodes.
CLOCKSS
SASI also provides support for the CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS) preservation framework. Through CLOCKSS-compatible archiving mechanisms, the journal contributes to the long-term preservation of scholarly content and supports permanent access to published materials.
These preservation systems help ensure that the journal's content remains accessible to researchers, academics, practitioners, and the public for the long term.
